In 2015 Sophos, a cybersecurity company, was on the verge of going public on London Stock Exchange. In order to increase awareness and drive opening stock value, the company invested $5 million dollars in a marketing campaign focusing on 4 major markets – London, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco. Utilizing a variety of media, Sophos was able to garner a 49% increase in brand awareness in only 4 weeks.
